Mary Verhoeven,

sometimes known as SOB_Comix, is a Canada based freelance illustrator, comics maker and occasional indie TTRPG & video games art gremlin. With comics published in The Other Side Anthology, Beyond II, Sweaty Palms, Wayward Kindred and numerous self-published stories, her work focuses on YA and horror, but she has been known to wear many hats. She worked as part of a multidisciplinary creative team on a Pride campaign for Absolut Vodka, designing merch (a zine and pins) as part of an interactive experience. Mary has worked on projects independently, one-on-one with editors, and as part of larger creative teams.

She also makes game assets with the Unfathomable Siblinghood game group, primarily for point and click story games.
